Xperia M4 Aqua E2303 - Issue with SD card slot.

Hi there,

Recently I have purchased the M4 Aqua on a contract with a Vodafone mobile provider but the main problem that I've had with the phone is that the MicroSD card slot does not work properly and it glitched my phone out, which is extremely annoying and useless..

The main issue that happens when I put in any MicroSD card into the slot:

- There is no message appearing that the card is inside (mounted)

- There is no message appearing that the card is damaged/needs format

But that's not all, the main issue that I have now is that the phone has locked itself in this part:

- I have restarted the phone multiple times normaly & safe mode but it still does not work.

- There is no SD card inside

- I tried using the Xperia software to repair the device - nothing changed

- I tried using another SD card - did not work, still the same.

Please could somebody give me a hand with this issue.

That seems to be a hardware issue, contact your local Sony Xperia support

I'm having exactly the same problem. It's so frustrating. The only Way I have found to make it work again is to format it using a computer then reinstalling apps. But that only works for about a week then it happens again.
So if you find a way to solve this please share xx
