Can't power on my phone

ive put my phone to gjarge last night (as always) but when i woke up i found it only 70% charged and the phone isnt working i restarted it and put it to the charger again ..charging well but still not working

hope u answer me quick as u can

I'm sorry to hear about your phone.

If you can't power on your phone, could you please try and press and hold the volume up and ON/OFF button at the same time for about 10 seconds? You should now get a 3 short vibrations and the phone will turn off.

Start the phone as normal with the ON/OFF button, are you able to power it on now?

If you still can't power on your phone, there is a small OFF button placed near the SIM and SD-card area on the phone which you can press and hold for about 10 seconds with the tip of pencil or a similar object. The phone will power off and you can try starting again.

it was charging and was 92% i uplugged the charger ti do what u said and now when i plugged the charger again the notfication flash is red instead of green and its not giving the sign of a batterycharging now its really dead

Sorry to hear that you still can't power on your phone.

Could you please try and remove your SIM and/or SD cards from your phone and then try to power it on again?

If you can't power it on, connect the charger to a wall socket and charge the phone for 3 to 4 hours, make sure that you are using a original charger and cable.

If there is no change, I would recommend that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will delete all data stored on the internal storage in the phone and you will not be able to backup any data since you can't power on your device.

i put it to charge about 2 hours ago

and i ve already tried using xperia companion but it didnt work with a powered off phone

Thanks for the update!

If you start the Xperia Companion program when your phone is turned off and not connected to your computer and then you press on "Software repair", can you then follow the instructions on the screen and complete the repair? Or do you receive any error messages along the way?

The phone does not have to be turned on for it to able to be software repaired, it is however required to be charged to at least 80%.

If you can't power on the phone after completing the software I would recommend getting in contact with your Local support team so they can assist you with having the phone sent in to an authorized service center.

three weeks ago my phone wasnt working or charging or viberating but someone told me that is a fake charged situation and i left the phone for few days and i charged and it worked ................but now the phone is charging well and its powering up but its only showing me siny logo on a black screen nothing else i left for few days and nothing new and i cant make software in this situation ......what should i do ?! and i bought the phone in dubai and now i am in egypt so there is no warranty ......

If the phone now turn on try to connect it to your computer and try to do a software repair. The problem is software related.

Hi @karimgh1,

I'm so sorry to hear about your phone.

Just like @YoGem recommended, if this is caused by the software in your phone you can with a computer reinstall the latest available software in your phone, software repair using Xperia Companion.

Do note that this will delete all data stored on the internal storage in the phone and since the phone isn't booting up, you can't unlock it you will not be able make a backup.

Before you perform the software repair, I would recommend that you remove your SIM and/or SD cards from the phone, start it up as you normally would do!

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing the same behaviour.

Have you tried any of the troubleshooting steps in this thread, such as holding down the power button and volume at the same time. This will force the phone to shut down.

Let me know how it went after you have tried some of the troubleshooting!

After that,I even removed the battery connector, wait about 5 minutes , than put it back.
still nothing happened...

and after that,I looking for somebody encountered the same situation as me,thats why am I here.
