screen gets black during call or call release

Hi,

I am facing a strange issue after the latest update from xperia c . The issue is that while attending a call or while ending a call screen suddenly goes on black and then screen dont come up. The only way to get screen is to do phone reset. Pls help me out with this

Additionally i tried to give myself a call when screen is black, phone rings and i can pick up the call, but nothing gets displayed on the screen.

Is there anything near or covering the proximity sensor?

Its a proximity bug. Nothing serious.

Sony's probably working on a fix to this in the next firmware update.

Yeah guys i think it must be firmware update issue, btw there is nothing in front of proximity sensor so there would be no chance of having the issue.

Also i would i like to bring in notice of moderators that there may be a firmware update issue regarding this problem. It is not something which would happen repeatedly but itermittenlty it would occur. In dark room when this issue occurs u can check that a minute ornage light near the proximity lightens up, and if this issue occurs the light doesn't goes off. May be this issue can help the sony developers to regenerate the bug at their end...

Well I found the solution. I have been experiencing the black screeen during the calls after the latest lollipop update and the following settings help solved the problem on my sony z3 dual mobile:

Go to Settings

Display

Set the adaptive brightness to : on

Tap to wake up : on

Hope this works for you all. No need to switch the mobile off. I made my call with the mobile still bright and it never went off.
