Hi @sakumra, if you try to access the app from the settings do you find it? or is it not available as well?

Try the steps in this link: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/SX675301

If the issue remains, try these steps:
1. Disconnect all externals.

2. Unplug the TV from the mains and leave it for 1 minute and then plug it back.

3. Make sure the software is updated: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/lcd-tvs-android-xd70xx_x70xxd-series/kd-49xd7005/software/00282916

4. Clear the cache data and force stop the app: Press HOME, then select [Settings] → [Apps] → [Desired app] → [Clear cache] → then select [Force stop].

5. Connect the TV to another internet source, you can try your phone hotspot: https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/daep1/v1/en/06-02_01.html

6. In case issue persists, perform a factory data reset: https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/daep1/v1/en/08-01_03.html

Checked the bbc list of ‘certified’ TVs and my trusty KD-49XD7005 is still on the list however all bbc apps have disappeared from the tv and google play store. (All software as up to date as it can be and restarted)

is that it? 8 yrs old and no longer supported?
