Sony Bravia KD32W800 - Possible to delete/uninstall Youtube ?

Hi,

I was considering buying a Sony Bravia KD32W800 or KD32W800P1U but would like to know if you can DELETE the YouTube application from it? (I'm assuming YouTube comes preinstalled)

Also, is there any difference between the Sony Bravia KD32W800 and the KD32W800P1U ?

You would have to ask Sony about deleting YouTube; but why not just not ever open it?

KD32W800 is just the generic name for this TV; I see KD32W800PU and KD32W800P1U being offered, in Argos’ case, both currently.

They are different;

EAN: 4548736124158 for the PU and EAN: 4548736153455 for the P1U, which suggests that is a later model perhaps, but both date from 2021.

Differences at that end of the model number can come down to stand or bezel differences, though I can’t see any.

Sony describe this model as coming with one of two alternative remotes, depending, but they don’t say depending on what.

You might want to ask on the Argos site what the differences are.
