High cpu usage Tvdotaction app

I have a problem with tvdotaction app on my 65x8509c (packagename com.sony.dtv,scrums.action)

The cpu usage of this app is low right after I power cycle the tv but after a while it's hammering the cpu sometimes so much as 80% and it do so til I power cycle the tv again.

What does this app do

As you can see, it doesn't give the cpu a break

Maybe I'm on to something here,I disconnected the internet and it stopped, now it has been hours since I connected it again but recommendations isn't working after that and no problem with high cpu usage.

Regardless if I found the source I have no idea how to really stop it

Nope I was wrong, it seems it wasn't recommendations, last time I checked,cpu usage was as high as 92%,oh I'm ***** at this right now.
But I am puzzled that no one else seems to have this problem

Hi there

Silly question - are you on the latest firmware? Have you tried a factory reset?

Sorry, I dont have a 2015 TV, so its hard for me to know or advise

No questions are too silly since I forgot to mention it, yes I'm on the latest fw and factory reset wont help as I did it a couple of days ago,i had the problem before and after the reset

I'm glad to say that the latest update took care of this issue, since the update no more high cpu usages

I had this “Unfortunately, TvDotAction has stopped” a few minutes ago.

TvDotInaction
TvDotReaction
TvDotNonaction

This is what happens when accessing an App like Google Play:

Home Screen:

1st access of e.g. Google Play:

a mess ...........:smileyconfused:

exit and second access of same app:

a normal situation.

This could be the cause of such errors
