Hey, the Bluetooth profile available on your TV is for HID (mouse/keyboard connectivity)/HOGP (Low Energy device connectivity)/SPP(Serial Port Profile), as specified here.

Are you able to use voice search on your TV? If you are able to do so, this means that your TV and your RC are both connected via Bluetooth and it's working fine. You can check this link that will help you on how to setup voice search on your TV. If you are unable to do that, probably you'll need to restore the TV to factory default here. I hope this helps.

Bluetooth Fault

Sony Bravia 43" KD-43XE8396

TV rebooted and software up to date but Bluetooth will not stay switched on. As soon as I leave settings the Bluetooth switches to the off position. When I open back up the Bluetooth settings I can clearly see it switched off - resorts to white. I switch it back on again - blue. There is no registered devices and when I click on add device a message appears: Available when (Bluetooth) is (on).

Has anyone solved this fault?
