We have 2 of these TVs and one of the remote controls stopped working on both TVs, any suggestions.

Have you checked the batteries in it, and replaced them with new ones if they are worn out?

Have you pointed the remote at the camera on your smartphone, and watched on the screen as you press buttons on the remote? Can you see the sender flickering, or do you see nothing?
