65zd9 restarting after turning on freesat recorder

After the latest update my 65zd9 restarts after turning on my free sat recorder this never happen before the update. My x800m2 works fine done all the usual disconnecting all inputs and restart no change can any body help

How is this recorder connected to the TV, can you give us a connection map?

And is this the version you're referring to (PKG6.7165)?

Hi Joe

My Free-sat recorder is from Free-sat latest one and is connected to the TV by HDMI2

The update is v6 7165

Its still doing it sometimes its stated to do it every 2 to 3 days

Have you tried to change the HDMI input? Is it still happening with different HDMI inputs?

Have changed to HDMI 1 from HDMI 2 still no luck

In case this issue is happening with any other HDMI connected device, I would say a factory data reset may sort this problem out since you have tried all the other basic troubleshooting steps already.

Its not happening to my SDR 1080 OR MY x800m2 , and I have done factory reset no luck?

Have found by setting the input on the TV to HDMI 1 then turning on the Free sat it does not reboot

This is not right as before the last update it all worked fine, looks like other people are having issues with the latest update we can live in hope that it gets solved

The problem has stopped on the freesat recorder doing setting the input to HDMI 1 on the TV before switching on the freesat, But now the problem has started with the x800m2 about every 3 days never had any trouble with before the last update has anyone had this problem?

Have you tried to enabled the enhanced format on the HDMI ports by using the link here?

I forgot to reset the enhanced format since I did the factory reset
