Hi there,

Im trying to connect my external usb 2TB WD My Passport HDD

with my Bravia 55w805c but the TV does not regognize it at all.

The hdd have NTFS format to support big files.

I cannot imaging that sony does not support this kind of HDD!!!!

I have connect it to all avaible usb ports but the tv refuse to "see" it.

Must i do something else?

Have i do anything wrong?

I'm fairly sure that NTFS is not supported and the drive should be formatted with exFAT or FAT in order to be recognised by the TV.

DO NOT USE USB CABLE Extension !!!

With direct connection with WD cable to USB port the HDD works JUST PERFECT via KODI !!!!

Hey there stonecityboys, Cable extenders often cause problems especially if they are a bit longer.
