No VIDEO (other images work) on my KD-43X8305C

Hello,

my TV (KD-43X8305C) does not show any VIDEO. The screen, the menus, everything is there, however when I try do play any video content I get only audio and a black screen (the back light is still on). I tried all four HDMI ports, connected my Sky HD+ box and two laptops, the YouTube app, Netflix and Amazon Prime all show the exact same behavior. Videos that I had handy via USB did not play at all, but that seemed to be a format issue. My Software version is PK2.645.0052EUB. It seems that it might have something to do with the decryption module or some TPM within the TV as any other on-screen content works. Same goes for the built-in diagnostics. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there.

Try these two things:

Press and hold the power button on the remote control for 6-10 seconds. The TV should do a complete reboot. Test. If that fails, goto step 2.
Do a complete factory reset of the tv. Instructions HERE
