Sony 4k TV KD49X8005CBU and Sony 4K Unlimited Video Service

Hi, Happy New Year,

I would like to have Sony 4K Unlimited video on my Sony 4K TV KD49X8005CBU. I understand the service has 200+ 4K movies for rent and purchase in the US. I can get PlayStion Video on my TV but it only has SD and HD movies.

Does anyone know if Sony plan to offer Sony 4K Unlimited Video service in the near future to us UK 4k TV owners?

Hi there

I know this is a link from 2013, but to be honest - its still relevent today. Sony does not normally release any future plans on any service or product until they are ready to make a big song and dance about it. Hence its unlikely you will recieve a proper response even if you contact Sony directly.

Also, i have not heard anything in relation to this from my contacts within Sony.

Hi and thanks. Yes I'm looking forward to 4k Blu Ray players. It's also a shame Sony are not selling the Sony 4K Media Player FMP X10 with internal hard drive for top quality 4k playback.
