I have a new Bravia tv KD-43XH9196,and I cannot get teletext pages from the green text button, Sony tell me to use red button plus, which I cannot seem to get, but it is text pages I want and not bbc iplayer.

has anyone had this issue?

I contacted Sony support on your behalf and they confirmed there are no teletext pages on this model and provided this link.

Try tuning to a radio channel from 700 upwards, and then pressing the green Text button.

This works on a YouView box, on which the Text button doesn’t work on the TV channels, though I don’t know if it will work on the TV, inside or outside of YouView.

Worth a try, though; and please let us know the results.
