Black Screen and No Sound on kd43xe8005

Recently about a minute after turning on the TV and while I'm watching a Freeview channel the screen goes black and the sound stops. Weirdly the TV is still on and responsive. While the screen is black I can use the remote to view the TV guide, change sound and video settings etc. As soon as I switch to another station I see that stations image and sound as normal and the TV does not go black again. I have not updated to android 8

Any ideas what may be causing this and how to fix it?

Hi Thorfin00,

Could be related to a weak antenna signal level.

Please check if your antenna cable is firmly attached to the TV and the antenna socket.

Otherwise I would recommend to have the antenna signal checked by a technician.

The signal is strong, all channels are being received and both ends of the
aerial cable are in securely.

It's almost as if the TV just forgets soon after it starts to push out the
sound and picture
