Why when attempting to watch programs do I get past the adverts and then everything turns to a row of walking dots, at least that is better than the message " Whoops! whats going on here it looks like there is a problem playing your video. That I used to get. This is on a KD43XG8305

Go back to initial setup and repeat it, this time accepting the Sony T&Cs and any other elements of the usage conditions individually, rather than selecting the blanket ‘Yes’.

There is a bug with the blanket acceptance which means that the TV thinks some of the conditions haven’t been accepted, and so inhibits these two players.

Not that this will necessarily fix it; you also need to have tuned in Channels 3 and 4 on a terrestrial aerial, not be in Scotland (for itv, where STV replaces it there), and to have both the TV and the service providers operating properly.

But it does need the setup steps described, or even with everything else correct, it won’t work properly.
