49 inch Bravia not working - red light flashing

The TV will not turn on, it has a red light flashing in groups of 8 does anyone have a suggestion of what to do ?

Tried the help line but it was closed with out giving times of opening.

Which model TV do you have?

Have you tried a power reset or a factory reset on it?

This may help, but I believe the 8 flashes relates to an issue

with the main board of the TV so you will probably have to call

Is your TV still in warranty?

this chart applies to 2015 models and it states it no hardware error and my involve main board or wifi module.

Thanks for this chart, it looks like a wifi or main board issue, hopefully can be repaired once the servicing company re-opens.

Step 4 in the chart talks about isolating the board, but I don't have any instructions on how to do this.
