IR stopped working after firmware 3.317

After much trouble I finally got the latest firmware installed. All good I thought....

The most notable thing I noticed right after the update was that the lightindicator was glowing, as the tv was on. I used the remote to start the tv and that worked. But after this, nothing works with the remote. I normally use a Logitech-remote to control everything but either that or the sony remote works.

I have tried to reset the remote and I made a power reset on the tv. After the power reset, the tv still glows from the start and react when I press power on the remote. But after that, nothing. Shouldn't be any problem with the remote in that case.

The tv is a KD-65X9005C.

Hi there

I would advise doing a Factory reset of the TV, as it can clear up issues from after a FW update. See HERE
