Firmware update v6.6510 Sony xe93

The latest update for my Sony XE93 has brought back an old problem that was resolved in a previous firmware update. It is now randomly displaying the info banner constantly whilst switching between

TV channels on my Sky+ HD box, pausing games on my PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. This is very frustrating.

Hi @ScrattyTV Check that you have the Info banner turned Off.

Home -> Settings-> Channel setup -> Info banner -> Off

There has not been any change in this bug which is caused when the Audio format changes on Sky, say HD (DD) to SD (PCM) etc. It has been present since 2016 in all updates including the latest. Did you perform a factory reset or it may simply be the update that sets it to On by default.

Thanks for that, I did do a full reset prior to installing the firmware update. I did try to find it in the settings but I thought the channel setup was the wrong place to look as I thought it would relate only to the internal tuners.

Seems to have resolved the issue.
