Software update does not finalize - keep recycle over and over again

How do I restart my TV. It automatically started an update 5h ago, but it still has not finalized and it just keep recycling between the Sony and the 4 coloured dots. And the restart option; electricity off” followed by vol down + power on/off kept in when electricty is turned back on does not work (no green light apears). ...There is absolutely no contact to my TV 😏 ...anybody knows what to do?

Welcome to the Sony Online Community! You forgot to mention your TV model. Could it be by any chance from the X80C line?

Generally speaking from your description, it doesn't sound as if you have more options left. I could advice you to have a look at the online diagnostic application and make sure you follow through all the possible options which apply to your problem (option 2, 3 and 4).

If that doesn't lead to a solution I'm afraid the only next step for you is to call Sony and book a repair service.
