KD49XF9005 not downloading Plex due to space

We recently bought this TV and are now looking at using Plex to digitise our DVD collection. I have found the Plex app on the Google Play Store but when I attempt to download it a message appears telling me that there isn't enough space on the TV.

When I go to 'vew storage' I have 8.2GB available and on the app information it says the app is 52.95mb so in theory I should have enough space. I've deleted a couple of apps we don't want and cleared space on others, with no luck.

Any ideas?

A quick test restarts Android TV by keeping the Power button on the remote control pressed.

No luck with restarting. I've tried downloading Kodi as it's a similar app and it's giving me the same message. I'm wondering if I'm misreading the information on the TV?

Your model has 16 GB of internal memory including 8 GB at your disposal (even expandable via an external USB memory).
