When will Android TV 8 (Oreo) be available in the UK on KD-49XF9005?

I've just bought an KD-49XF9005 and was hoping it would have the same version of Android that my Nvidia Shield TV has, but its still Nougat, which is way more clunky than Oreo.

When will Oreo be available for my TV? Is it possible to download the update now and manually update it myself?
