the remote sometimes does not work after putting on th TV, need to unplug the TV. Any idea what to do ?

Hi there

A couple of things to try first.

Replace the batteries
Ensure you have the latest firmware installed - latest version is: PKG2.645.0052EUA
Factory reset the TV, after you have the latest firmware installed. See HERE

I also have this issue.

However on reset I then have to reselect my wifi and re-enter the password.

The wifi issue also occurs intermittantly.

I've done the diagnositics and have even disabled the PS4 from starting the TV as this is when I first noticed it but it is really getting frustrating.

I can't say I've ever had a TV that just refuses to turn on from standby before and after convincing a family member to get the same TV before I knew of this I am dreading the "what the hell" phonecalls as in his case the powersupply is not that easy to get to.

Any updates Sony?
