I have a Sony KD-65A1 i am trying to load apps that are available on the Play Store on my tablet but are not available on the play store on my TV

can anyone tell me how to do do it ?

Which apps would that be? Keep in mind that Android TV does not equal Android. Different app stores... If you can't find an app, it is most probably not available for Android TV.

the Apps were Smarters TV and Global entertainment Player

i have tried using the ES file explorer method of transferring but just cant get it to work

Solved

i loaded the desired app APK. files into my google drive then opened up ES file explorer on the tv and installed them they all work perfectly

ive ran into another problem if anyone can help

after loading the apps Flawless and smarters all the content is displayed but wont open any content ive checked that i can get third party developers on the tv and i have made sure Virgin's web safe is off but im still having no luck they have checked their servers which are fine i have tried rebooting my router and the tv but to no avail

any advice would be appreciated cheers
