Hello! I wanted to add to the list of people frustrated with my AndroidTV crashing. Definitely appears to be random. Sometimes it is an app crash (ex. Netflix or SlingTV). Other times the OS crashes, taking me to the Sony logo and then the perverbial Android spinning circles. I am running the latest OS package per the Sony website. I’ve also checked to be sure there aren’t too many apps running. Most of the time the TV starts to lag (can’t get a response to remote) and the stream stops and starts. My internet and WiFi are rock solid while this is occurring. I’ve seen many other posts with similar issues with AndroidTV but I don’t see any significant response from Sony. I like the TV as it is great when it is working properly. Unfortunately, the crashes are,too frequent to ignore (1-2 times per day).

That sounds really frustrating.

I would suggest a reset of your TV which should resolve the issue for you. You can find more details on how to perform this here.
