KD43XE8077 TV, HTCT800 Sound Bar and Sky HD Channel shifting

I have Sky HD going into HDMI 1 of the Sound Bar. A blu ray player goes into HDMI 2. From the Sound Bar I have a cable going into TV ARC HDMI 3. Image and sound is fine.

I will be watching TV and then turn on the Sky Box. This changes the TV to HDMI channel 1. This is a blank screen. I select Home button on Sound Bar and change the channel to HDMI 1 (the Sky cable). This changes the TV back to ARC HDMI 3. Sky HD is show on the TV. Randomly Sky can repeat this cycle again.

Is there any way of stopping turning on Sky causing a automatic channel change? I am happy to make manual changes to toggle between TV, Sky or Bluray. I want the TV to be fixed on ARC HDMI 3.

Hi Richard,

Welcome to the Sony Community.

This may be due to HDMI-CEC functions. I would suggest turning off the Bravia Sync, which you can find more details on here.

Probably no help but have a look at the Sync Menu for HDMI 1 & 3 to make sure everything looks OK. Action Menu -> Sync Menu.
