HELP Sony KD- 55XE7002 Won't work after software update!!

I did the software update tonight and the TV went to reboot but all i got is a black screen and a while LED light showing. Is there anyway I can fix this please? thank you all.

OMG, i'm having the exact same issue. I did the same thing and now ***** nothing. I have the very same Sony model TV as well so this cannot be a coincidence. I'm going insane the stupid thing. Sony are not in my good books, it's a nightmare trying to speak to them and sort a repair. The stupid system they have takes way to long.

That information didn't help me i'm afraid. I don't need help with the update i accepted the prompt to install the update and then when it reached the end of the loading scale it rebooted and came back in the current state.
