Has anyone found a bluray player that actually works with Dolby vision as I have tried 3 now with no luck

There are a couple of more things that come to mind here, I recommend making sure enhanced format is enabled as shown in the help guide here: http://helpguide.sony.net/tv/eaep1/v1/en/04-09_02.html

Also if that doesn't lead anywhere, maybe try resetting the TV using the steps here: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/00170595

So does that mean at the minute we are limited to a very small amount of players (none) and hoping that the 3rd party manufacturers will bring something out for the TV or get the x700 and hope it will be compatible sometime in the future 🤔

Hi none was sony they was 2 lg players one is the new ubk90, oppo203, and a older lg player 970 ending and I tried a few different DV content spiderman homecoming was one of them atomic blonde etc.
And as far as I know no sony player Is dolby vision enabled

Point number 3 under the table: " After the Sony TV receives the software update, devices with Dolby Vision playback (such streaming media players and UHD Blu-ray players) that are connected to the Sony TV by HDMI will also require a software update to support Dolby Vision playback through the device. For more information on the timing of an update for a particular player, please contact the player’s manufacturer."

I know that the firmware will need updating on the player but what im trying to say is ahs anyone found a player to date that actually works? As the firmware has been out since the end of march and is any 3rd party manufacturer even going to bother developing a firmware to work as it will have to be sony specific I think I have made an expensive mistake as lg can do it out of the box
