      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi I have just purchased a KD 49XE8396 from Currys.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On the website it says 5 years Warranty. They also tried to sell me an extended plan which I declined.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However I can’t find any information on the 5 year Warranty and I have asked Currys and they said it has nothing to do with them and I would need to speak to Sony!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any one else no about the Warranty, can’t find anything on Sony website.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Currys are correct, this is a Sony warranty which you only need proof&amp;nbsp;of purchase to qualify for. It is only applicable to certain models, and checking the Currys site, yours is listed as qualifying, so you need do nothing more. If you would like a personalised guarantee certificate, Sony will issue you one.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
