Sound lag?

A couple of weeks ago my 2yr old Sony kd-55x850 tv updated and since then there has been a approx 3-4 second delay after playing anything off my sky hd, it happens after fast forward or rewind too.

strange thing is i have magic eyes linking other TVs but they work fine.

its pretty frustrating after a while as you miss starts of conversations etc lol

anyone else had this issue

It might be worth performing a reset on your KD-55X8509C TV. You can follow the instructions here to do this.

Yes i have done this at the weekend but unfortunately it is still the same, it seems to have happened since i last updated it

Hi Jiw237,

Is it possible to try connecting the Sky HD box directly to the TV without using the magic eyes setup just to check if it will do the same thing when connected directly? Also, have you checked if other external devices have the same issue with the TV as well?

Let us know the outcome if you tried those tests.

the tv is connected directly the magic eyes are connected to other TVs on the house and wierdly they all work fine

i have a PS4 which is connected to this tv so will try and see if that has the same issue

Issue that is already known but still present and not fixed.

I am still waiting for Sony Support to update me via email with a resolution/fix/update ...
