43XD8077 FIRMWARE 2858 PROBLEM

Just updated to the new firmware and it has rendered my TV useless.

Once accessed menu or home section, using/control the cursor and keyboard from remote is very very very slow.

Have done a restart and a factory reboot but has not cured the problem.

Before firmware update there was no issues in controlling the menu features

Sony technical has yet to reply to help request

Anyone have a cure, wish i could uninstall upgrade 😠

Hello all

I have an update and it starts with OMG.

found a setting on TV that said remote had 30% battery, not that bad I didn't think. I've not found that setting again btw.

Anyway I was close to putting my foot through the TV when I thought let me change the batteries. .................... would you believe it, it cured the problem.

Seriously........OMG

Channel selecting was never effected but once you accessed the menu that's when the drama began

Problem is now fixed 😧 hopefully
