Latest Bravia Firmware Update Issues

I've just updated to the most recent firmware as per the prompt on my Bravia KD55XE8596 and it's erased all of my personal picture settings and now I'm struggling to recreate the perfect TV picture I had.

The patch notes said no personal settings would be changed or reset. I've I'd have known I'd have noted them down.

However the last settings I had it was set to vivid with brightness maxed and I never thought it was very bright.

Now on that setting the TV seems overly bright and colourful and find myself having actually turn it down.

As I said before I'm struggling to get it set the way I like it.

Anyone else suffering from this headache?

Welcome to the Sony Community.

It seems that you're right as I've checked the update notes and it says that the settings should remain. Unfortunately at this point in time it looks like the only thing to do would be to go back and configure them again.
