KD 55 XE83 won’t stay on HDMI 1

Whatever I plug into HDMI 1 (switch or PS4) it says is on HDMI 2 and switches to that channel .... how can I stop this, i am using an ARC SOUND bar through HDMI 3 so cannot use this as an option

Hi there,

This problem could be caused by a bad connection. I would suggest disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cable to see if this resolves the issue.

Hi,

yeah, I tried this and then retried each device, but whatever goes in HDMI 1... it tries to swap to HDMI 2 ... regardless, I will try putting something in slot 1 and 2 and see if that helps.

I'd recommend making sure your TV is up to date first, here's a link to the latest update here.

If this doesn't help the issue, maybe you can try resetting the TV to factory settings?
