KDL-55W808C System Upgrade Fail

Good Afternoon,

I have tried to make a system upgrade to my Sony Bravia tv however it seems that there was an issue with the internet while downloading. The problem I now have is that the TV is not swithing on and I now have a 6 red LED error but the tv never switches on.

Can anyone help on how I can turn the TV on once again?

Had this problem already 3 months ago but technician never actually told me how to do it myself in the event that this happens once again.

Hi Alistair,

Welcome to the Sony Community.

Have you tried changing the batteries in the remote? I would also suggest try turning the television on with the power button that's on the TV itself if you continue to have problems. This will help you identify if the issue is with the remote or the television.
