Casting from the Boxer app (swe) to the KDL-55W755C

Hi!

I'm trying to use an Android app from the swedish broadcaster "Boxer" to cast content to our Sony KDL-55W755C but it doesn't find the tv in our LAN. The TV is connected to the LAN of course. Well .. this works with other apps so I guess the problem lies in the lap of the Boxer tech crew.

The tech crew at this company seems not interested to take answer for these problems. They keep telling me "use a normal Google chromecast module". Well .. I do that also and then it works. BUT, I want this to work with this Sony Android TV of course so here I am, asking you to give me a hint what these guys have missed when trying to code this app for their company.

What do they have to do to get the app compatible with this TV? Thanks in advance.

Hi there

I guess firstly the Boxer app must be Google Cast enabled.

Also, have a read of:

Especially have a look at all the apps that google recognise of being cast enabled.
