Dolby digital passthrough

Hi guys

I have a sony kd 55xe9005 connected via hdmi to my Sony UBP-X800 4K player, the tv is connected via optical to a sonos playbar. Can the tv pass Dolby digital audio it receives from the blu Ray player out to the playbar via optical?

Did you get an answer from Sony? I have this TV on my shortlist but would need DD passthrough to a Sonos Playbar like you do.
