Remote won’t work

I have a Sony Bravia KD-55X8509C my tv remote stopped working but the touch pad remote is fine. The remote is SONY RMT-TX100D it came with tv. I tried the remote with my phone and camera and it’s fine, so must be tv. Just don’t know what to do next!? Can anyone help?
