hi all

I brought the tv in April after a 3 months it developed a dead pixel about 3” from the center of the screen and the surrounding pixels seem dull. phoned Sony support in July only to be told ( after emailing them some pictures of the screen) that this is considered normal and not a defect and basically that I’ve just got to live with the fact I’ve sent £1200 on a tv only to be irritated every time I watch it as the pixel is near the center it’s hard not to notice it . I’ve tried so hard to live with it and not to let it get to me but it’s so frustrating. Has anyone had the same issue and had it resolved . Or does anyone have any advice of what I can do to get it resolved .I expected so Much more from Sony and would have thought they would have repaired/ replaced it.
