Youtube - Either super loud or super quiet?

Has anyone noticed that tha volume is either too loud or too quiet? I can supress the volume in my amp, but it makes it too quiet for all other apps.

I can watch one video which is ok, then the next nearly blows the room apart? There does not seem to be any volume normalisation?

on the PC, YouTube has a normalization function (right click into the video and select the "statistics for nerds"), not sure about the App(s) though.

Maybe you should suggest this to Google/YouTube!?

Yeah it shows normalisation, but I still get someon that are super loud.
