Yes I to noticed that to.

I have a Sony KD-43X8307C 2015 model

To be honest I think it must be a typo it's got August date which is very interesting .

If it's a newer firmware build it should have a new build number.

As when you scroll down the page it still shows June 2017 date for 3.88.

If you click in the link it actually shows that it was released in June:

It has probably been a mishap in the main page.

I downloaded the file and sony_dtv0FA50A09A0A9_00014100_0f2d0089.pkg is the same dated 5/29/2017.
