KDL-43W807c connection to sound plinth

Hi, I recently bought the subject TV, and have connected it via an optical lead to a Denon KT-100

sound plinth.

When the TV is switched off the plinth continues to "pop" and may do so randomely for hours.

Whilst this is not a die in a ditch problem, it is agravating, and perhapes someone can offer advise on a resolution.

Hi there

It sounds like an issue with the soundbase itself. However, try setting the 'digital audio out' to 'Auto' or 'PCM' in the TVs sound settings. if that fails, try another optical cable.
