Sony x850d remote control - no options?

Hi guys,

So i have recently got the Sony x850d (Incredible set).

However, im having issues with the remote. I have downloaded a few apps from the play store (Smart IPTV, Perfect Player) which have menus that are usually opened by pressing a menu or option button on remote (other TV's i have do this with no issues) however on my Sony remote there seems to be no button to bring this up..

any help appreciated, thank you!

Hi there

For reasons unknown, Sony removed the options button on the remote control. However in most cases you can pull up the 'options' menu from the "Action Menu". Simply press the [Action menu] button on the remote control and scroll across to "menu" - you should find options in their.

Unfortunatey there is no menu option in my action menu, just display options - is there a way to change what shows up in the action menu?
