New TV KD-55EX9005 (2017) BBC iPlayer Not Streaming

I got above 2017 smart TV and I am unable to stream BBC iPlayer. It is connected via ethernet cable and all other applications are working fine.

I have tried a reset but still, it keeps trying to connect forever. Firmware and Android are up-to-date.

Anyone else having this issue or had this issue, please advise.

Hi there

I cannot repicate this on my TV - although I do not have a 2017 TV. BBC iPlayer seems to have a funny knack of not working one day, but then its fine again the next. Can you test again?

Can you also test Demand5 too? As both these players require a UK based IP address to work - just ruling out another possibility.
