Not a clue what this thing does or can do KD-43x8307C

Just delivered by local store. Delivery guy got it working in as much as a picture etc. Not a manual in sight. Well there is a sheet that tells me how to set up the stand and/or wall mount it.

Can somebody point me to documents that actually tells me what it is a capable of and how to do it. Been to the user manual at the sony site which is predictably useless.

If this is not the information you were hoping to find, I would advise you to get in contact with Sony Support.
