Hey guys,

does anyone know how to activate so called hbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast Broadbad TV) ? It should be activated by pressing a red button while watching a regular programme. But pressing the red button doesnt do anything,... is there some option in Settings maybe to activate this function?

Hi there

hbbTV is built into the TV and I dont recall any settings on the TV. I am assuming that you are not in the UK as we are still using MHEG instead of hbbTV (due to change at some point). What country are you located in and what channel are you trying to use it on. Does that channel support 'red button' services?

My country is Czech Republic. And yes, the channel does support "red button".

It actually worked fine a month ago but suddenly after pressing the red button - nothing happens.

Hi there

I think it would be best to use the first two steps in the troubleshooting process:

Can you ensure that your TVs firmware is up-to date?
Once step 1 is done, do a complete factory reset of the TV. Instructions HERE.

Do those two things, and see if it resolves the problem.
