Hi there

If your only going to stream media files, why not set up a DLNA server on your media centre PC and stream to the TV via your network. You wont need a beefy graphics card for that. I recommend Serviio as it works well. Or even Plex.

Cheers

Hi chaps. I've got my super new 49X8305C TV connected to a PC that runs Media centre.. The picture quality is not great via the HDMI connection and I think that's because the NVIDIA geforce 110 is a bit lightweight. Nvidia recommend some very expensive cards with huge fans that will be noisy so aren't suitable. I looked at another post and it recommended that I need a card that supports 3840 X 2160 resolution. The NVIDIa 720 seems to tick all the boxes so.... Has anyone any experiance of this combination of card and PC and if not anyone suggest a suitable card that is quiet, low profile and will not break the bank. I do not play games so don't want a "beast".

Cheers
