SONY VAIO VGN-FW21E
Good day!

I am from the Czech Republic. In 2009 I bought a SONY VAIO VGN-FW21E laptop. In 2020 I reinstalled

OS Vindows Vista on Windows 10.Notebook works, but there is no program driver (S1, VOL + -, DVD and CD playback, AV Mode). Is there anything you can do about it?

Thanks for any well-meaning advice.

Spartap7777.

There are no other official sources for the drivers. What problem are you facing now?

Check if your model supports Windows 10. I tried to use that model number but I couldn't find much info about it. Maybe going back to a previous version is the best solution here.

I had the Windows 10 operating system installed on this laptop. The original operating system was Windows Vista, in which all drivers were fully functional. The drivers do not work with Windows 10. I will not return to the Windows Vista operating system.

have Windows 10 installed on this laptop. No drivers work for it (CD, DVD playback). The original operating system was Windows Vista. All drivers were fully functional. My question is whether all drivers can be installed and to run Windows 10 without having to reinstall Windows Vista pre-flood? Thank you in advance for any answers. Regards spartap 7777.

Unfortunately, there are no drivers made for Windows 10, support for Windows 10 in general is nonexistent since the Vaio line was discontinued anyways.

Your best bet would be to check the latest drivers for your model and then install whichever Windows version it was made for (usually, that's Windows 8).

Hope this helps!
