Reinstallation S1XP

Hello Forum!

I did a reinstallation of my S1XP with my own XP Pro CD, but I have some problems with the driver package I downloaded from the sony support page:

Most of the drivers only have .inf files. So they aren't easy to install.

Is there any other way to install the drivers without the recovery cd and all the other sony stuff? Can if find the drivers on the recovery cd? I used kcap to unpack the .pac files but there wasn't a driver in it!

(Yes I can look in the .inf and compare it with the names in the hardware manager, but it isn't very funny  )

Another question: The utility package I download on the german support page contains only english utilities, where are the german ones?

Thanks for your answers!

Greetings Steve

In Device Manager (Under System Manager) , you can locate the devices without drivers. Then right click on the particular device, select properties. Then update driver.

This requires the *.inf drivers. Hope it works
